I was surprised by the number of fans who hadn't even reached their twenties. For some reason, I thought we'd be overwhelmingly in our twenties & up.

Looks like almost everyone has the Saturn version. (Big surprise, huh?!)
But it looks like lots of people who have the Mega-CD version like it even better than the Saturn version. (Of course, some people are the opposite way, but...)

I wish we'd gotten more responses from the Playstation userbase.

I think most of the votes counted them as one character, but the Masked White Knight by himself got so many votes that I counted them separately from Leo's. (I think of them as separate characters)
There were Lunar 1 characters who got votes, too, but oh, well - you can't say they were completely absent from the game, so I included them in the count.

Anyhow, our heroine is really popular, isn't she!-- Particularly with the men.
And Ghaleon, naturally, is popular, like always.
And it's awesome that Leo's popular, too (^^)
If you'd added in the votes for the Masked White Knight, he would've been 2nd!

It warmed my own heart, too, seeing Lucia's heart opening up bit by bit - in the story, of course, but even in battle. (lol)
Remiena put up a good fight too, didn't she.
It seems like she won a lot of people over with her cheerful disposition.
Jean seems to have support among the women.
I guess she's the type you'd want for a friend or older sister!!

By the way, the people who like Mauli really like her.
They particularly like Mauli in her bromide. She's sooo cute!!
Well, whatever. I can't imagine Mauli and Leo sleep on their stomachs. (I really mean that "whatever," but anyway.)

What a weird question, huh? (^^; It looks like a lot of people really gave this one a lot of thought.
There seems to be a clear split between men and women, too.
The girls' favorite was Leo. Why...? I *knew* you were dummies...***COUGH COUGH HAAAAACK** (coughing up blood) It seems to be because he's the honest, forthright type. (lol)
With Remiena, lots of people seem to think that "it's the woman's job to handle the finances." [Translator note: In Japan, it is indeed a prevalent attitude that the wife handle all the household finances.]
Hmmm...but it seems to me that if you married her, you'd have trouble getting spending money out of her, no?
Anyhow, "Zophar" - it seems like you'd have a pretty thrilling marital life with him, doesn't it? (lol) And he's got looks, so.
"Bawgan" seems to be because he looks like he's pretty old and doesn't have long to live, so you'd have no money worries. Or something.(lol)

11. Which scene touched you the most?

1. The 2nd ending. Hiero goes to the Blue Star to reunite with Lucia.
2. The 1st ending. Lucia says her goodbye to Hiero and departs for the Blue Star all alone.
3. After battle, Ghaleon entrusts the magic sword Ghalcion to Hiero and fades away, watching over the Valgan as it departs.
4. After Lucia is kidnapped, Hiero and the others regain the magic power they've lost in the battle with Ghaleon.
5. After Zophar is resurrected, Lucia is torn between the Blue Star and Hiero, and Hiero's party is confronted by a shocking truth.

There's a pretty wide range of responses, and everyone has their own reasons for their choices, so there's a pretty wide spread in the votes.
Lots of people were vague in their wording, so I ended up not being able to do a detailed breakdown of the voting.

When you look at it this way, they're so many good scenes, aren't there. It makes me want to play the game all over again. Lots of people chose scenes that happened around the climax especially.
Several people couldn't choose and just picked "all of them."

The endings, of course, made the strongest showing. Endings are important!
I think those two endings were what made a lot of people Lunar fans (myself included).

12. Finally, talk about Lunar 2 however you like/say/add whatever you like about Lunar 2.

- It's not the flashiest game, but I love it for its simple charm.
- This is the first time I've ever been so obsessed with an RPG. I usually suck at them!
- Hiero, have a happy life with Lucia, OK? If you're together, it'll all work out (music note)
- For a week straight, I cried whenever I thought of the game--
- Lunar 2 is the most awesome RPG I've played so far.
- I liked how Lucia was such a sweetie to me in battle (lol)
- A masterpiece is always a masterpiece no matter how many years go by.
- 2's interpersonal drama was so much deeper than even 1's, and so I really felt for for the characters - and as I played, it really felt like I was on the adventure, too.
- I liked how, when it got right down to it, the people of Lunar were heroes at heart and how they treasured the ones they loved.
- I'm so grateful to Lunar 2, which gave me the courage to never give up!
- It's not just a simple morality play, Lunar. Even those parts carry a profound sense of warmth and good will.
- This is the first game that ever made me cry. I never thought I'd find a game this wonderful - and I don't think I ever will again. I honestly haven't to this day found anything that surpasses it.
- This game's got soul. Even now, four years later, I ain't ever found a better game!
- Lucia, Hiero, Ruby, Ghaleon, Zophar...if I hadn't met them, I don't think I'd be gaming today.
- Lunar 2 rocks!!
- If a freak like Rong-fa can get a girl, then there's hope for me--------
- This is an RPG I'll never forget for as long as I live.
- It's been a long time since I've seen something this good. Really gets into the player's head. It's awesome.
- This game was released around the time of high school entrance exams, and it's responsible for stealing away 90% of the time I had for studying.
- Luhna and Ghaleon appear, but Arhes, the hero of the last game, doesn't?... [Translator note: Deal with it.]
- I want to have more people to experience the shock and emotion that I did.
- Just thinking back to the final battle or hearing the songs gives me goosebumps. You could say it's a game I don't think I'll ever forget.
- To me, Hiero is the ultimate hero and Lucia is the ultimate heroine.
- Even if it hurts sometimes, no matter how impossible things seem, thanks to Hiero, I now know that if I believe, it's important to never give up, no matter what happens.
- I never ever thought something could be so emotionally affecting.
- I was shocked by how well Lucia's character was portrayed as she changed little by little before my eyes. And it's all done with her trademark Lucianess (^^;
- The game is like the Light of Althena that cleanses the hearts of the people; just thinking back upon it warms my heart.
- I wanna play Lunar 3 - opening with Hiero and Lucia after the Blue Star is revived.
- To me, there is no role-playing game greater than Lunar 2. Make no mistake - it's a story of the highest quality. When I finished playing the Mega-CD version to its very end, I couldn't think of anything else for a while.
- How about a Ruby-shaped lighter? (A Zippo, maybe?)
- I think it's a masterpiece whose simple sweetness really affects you.
- ...Lunar changed my life...
- There's no game that makes you feel all the characters' hopes, triumphs, and emotions as you're playing. The entire game is one big highlight reel...
- Lunar 2's the reason for my insomnia.
- Oh, I cried and cried. Every time I make progress in the game, I see a little more change in Lucia, and it just gets me.
